What is the $75,000 Challenge? The Mission Heights Schools (Mission Heights Primary and Mission Heights Junior College) are two new schools opened in February 2009 and are situated in Flatbush, Manukau, New Zealand. This year, the schools entered two teams into the National Community Problem Solving competition and were successful in their divisions. This lead to an invitation to represent New Zealand and the schools at the International Finals to be held June 2010 in Lacrosse Minesotta, USA. As a result, we are having to fundraise $75,000 to get the two teams to the International finals. We know that in these tough financial times this is going to be a challenge, hence the $75,000 challenge. However we calculated if 75,000 people donate just $1 each this target is going to be much easier to achieve. Of course, we also calculated that it is also just 7,500 donate $10, or 750 people donating $100 or $1,000 donated each by 75, we will also get there!! ![]() |
